A: You’ll need to take a 20-minute FWC Boating Test before your reservation. This is a requirement under Florida law. You can complete the test online here: Temporary Boating License.

A: No, the test is not required, but we encourage you to take it for safety.

A: Yes, all our rental services are open to the public. We are located at the Lobby of the Waterstone Resort & Marina and our services are open to the public and guests of the hotel.

Q: Do you offer CAPTAINS to drive the boat for us?
A: Yes, we do! A captain is available for an additional fee of $50/hr, which is paid directly to the captain at the time of your trip. To add a captain to your rental, please give us a call.

Q: What happens if the weather is bad on the day of my reservation?
A: Reservations are weather-permitting and may be rescheduled due to severe conditions like heavy rain, lightning, or thunder. If weather conditions don’t meet this threshold, the deposit is non-refundable. Our team will contact you if any changes are necessary.

Q: Do I need to pay the full amount when booking?
A: No, we only require a deposit to secure your reservation. The remaining balance is due in person at the end of your trip. If you need to cancel, deposits are fully refundable as long as you cancel at least 24 hours in advance.
